Electric (with video of this sloop): you hear absolutely no engine noise. Electric boating also means better sailing characteristics, no maintenance, and ultimately lower costs.
With 4 people, you can sail for 4 hours non-stop at a speed of 7 kilometres per hour (4 kWh battery sufficient for a day with a range of 30 to 40 kilometres. - 9 kWh battery is also possible). A 1 kW motor is also possible with a speed of up to 8 kilometres per hour with 2 people. You can then remove the battery and charge it at home. You can easily increase your range with an extra battery.
2 customer experiences: with a 495 sloop, you typically use 300 to 400 watts. You never sail at maximum power, so you can really sail all day on a nearby lake. With a 540 sloop: around 400 watts, you'll reach a speed of 5 to 6 kilometres per hour in the canals.
