In 2021, I interned at Marinaut. I never thought for a moment that I was an intern. From the very beginning, I was truly part of the company. Maarten (owner & internship supervisor) immediately helped me with all my questions. Besides the excellent support, I was also given a lot of freedom in my work, which I really appreciated. My ideas were listened to and then actually implemented. You were truly involved in the company from start to finish. The tasks varied enormously, which was very nice. From maintaining the website to accompanying me on sea trials. I highly recommend this internship. I had a wonderful time! - Diek (Marketing Communications Intern, ROC Nijmegen)

During my internship at Marinaut, I felt involved and part of the company; I didn't feel like an intern at all. Maarten, the owner and internship supervisor, provided excellent support, from maintaining the website to accompanying me on sea trials. The tasks I performed were very varied, and that's precisely what I enjoyed about my internship. I also enjoyed my internship, and the six months flew by. I highly recommend this internship to everyone because I truly enjoyed it here. Camiel (Marketing and Communications Intern, ROC Nijmegen)

In both the second and third years of my studies, I completed a five-month internship at Marinaut. I was so impressed with the first period that I returned for the second, which Maarten agreed to. I didn't really know anything about boats, but during those two internships, I discovered I really enjoy the subject and am becoming increasingly adept at it. There's also a lot to learn in terms of marketing. For example, you get to see what goes on behind the scenes, like maintaining the website or creating posts for social media accounts. You can also work with Maarten to create a flexible schedule, which is sometimes very helpful if you're busy with work or school. What I liked most was the variety in your work. After you've finished creating a post, for example, you can always help prepare the boats, engines, trailers, or other items the showroom needs. You can even go on a test run after you've made a boat completely ready to sail. The atmosphere is great, and they often organize outings with the crew. "I think it's a fantastic and unique place to do an internship, and I'm glad I ended up here!" - Mitch (marketing & communications student at ROC Nijmegen)
I started my internship at Marinaut in February 2024. I didn't know much about boats, but I found the idea of learning something new and gaining practical experience very appealing. From the beginning to the end of my internship, everything was clearly explained, and I always had something to do. I worked a lot on Marinaut's marketing, which is where I really learned a lot about marketing. I also worked on the boats, from getting them ready to sail to assembling them. I learned a lot from that as well and had some great sea trials! What I also appreciated was that the team at Marinaut is very friendly. I also had plenty of time to complete my school assignments. In short, I'm very positive about my internship at Marinaut, and I would definitely recommend it if you're looking for a fun and varied internship! - Tyra (marketing & communication student at ROC Nijmegen)
I started my internship at Marinaut in early 2023. From the very beginning, I felt immediately involved in the company's activities. Maarten (the owner) was very helpful and taught me a lot. What I really like about this company is that there are so many different things to do and you receive thorough explanations of all the tasks. The team I worked with is also very sociable, which created a pleasant working atmosphere. The occasional chat with the other interns and employees was simply part of the experience. At Marinaut, you have time to work on your school assignments, but you also have time to work in the company. For example, during my internship, I had the opportunity to prepare a harbor event with Maarten, where we showcased electric outboard motors and organized sea trials. Other activities included sea trials, social media, taking photos, and setting up the showroom. In short, I really enjoyed my internship here . - Polle (Intern, Business Management IVA Driebergen)
I interned at this company for six months. I learned a lot there. I gained more insight into this work. I learned new things about marketing and all the important aspects surrounding it (which social media performs best, how to rank high in search engines, etc.). I also learned a lot about boats—maybe not the most important thing to learn, but very interesting nonetheless. I now know how to assemble things, what's important for a boat, what to look for, and much more. I'm pleasantly surprised by this place and would definitely recommend it to others.
