A decent-sized engine can be accommodated in the well without excessive rear trimming. An integrated swim platform also contributes to this.

This boat is fully equipped and suitable for 7 adults. It features a round seating area, yet still offers ample space for all passengers. The round seating area in the bow is accessible via a step. It offers space for the whole family and features comfortable, deep back cushions. The back cushions are up to 48 centimeters high for comfortable seating.

At 6.0 meters long and 2.4 meters wide, this tender is truly unique in its class. What space, what stability, what width! Excellent handling. Very stable and comfortable—a truly enjoyable boat.

With a 60 hp outboard motor, speeds of over 50 kilometers per hour can be reached, making this Topcraft 605 tender ideal for the sporty water sports enthusiast. *The high gunwales also make this boat very safe for families with children.

Diamonds' luxurious cushion set is soft and supple with a metallic sheen featuring tiny diamond shapes and the look of fabric. Diamonds is incredibly strong and highly durable. It also has excellent colour and light fastness. Waterproof, resistant to low temperatures (-23°C), antibacterial, anti-fungal, anti-stain, anti-static, easy to clean, flame retardant.

  • Electric (ePropulsion or Amarew) or fuel-powered (Tohatsu or Honda). The tender sloop requires no boating license with an engine up to 20 hp. With a 30 hp Tohatsu outboard motor, two people can sail at a maximum speed of 28 kilometers per hour. Planing sloop: suitable for water skiing, wakeboarding, or wakefoiling. With 40 hp, you can reach a speed of 40 kilometers per hour. With 50 hp, you can reach a speed of 50 kilometers per hour. Even 75 hp (51 kW) is possible with a maximum recommended engine weight of 188 kilograms. 60 hp Tohatsu .
  • The long-tail motor is safely and neatly hidden from view in the bunk. This further reduces the noise of the already quiet motor. The bunk is easy to open and close thanks to two gas springs.
  • *Tip: Silent electric boating with even better handling, increased reliability, no maintenance, and ultimately lower costs. Four people can cruise on 1.2 kWh at a speed of 7 kilometers per hour. The range with a 4 kWh battery capacity is then 23 kilometers. At 5 kilometers per hour, it consumes only 0.6 kWh. The range with a 4 kWh battery capacity is then 33 kilometers.
• Since 1996, Topcraft has been developing its own boats. More than 5,000 satisfied Topcraft owners are now sailing the Dutch waters. Topcraft develops new models in-house. Quality is paramount for decades of trouble-free boating pleasure. Topcraft delivers quality. This isn't just an empty slogan; the shipyard is known for replacing molds with new ones more quickly than elsewhere. A mold is expensive, and it's tempting to use it to produce a few more boats. However, for impeccable build quality, this isn't a good idea. A worn-out mold won't produce super-smooth polyester work. Another point of attention for the shipyard is the time a new boat is allowed to cure in the mold. A new Topcraft is only released once the polyester has finished curing. Speeding up the curing process to quickly reuse the mold for the next boat detracts from the lifespan and quality of the laminate. • Boat Import Holland, known for its in-house developed and manufactured Topcraft and OudHuijzer sloops and tenders, and importer of Style sports boats, has developed a brand-new model, the Topcraft 605 Tender. At the invitation of Boat Import Holland, we spent an afternoon sailing the 605 tender on the Randmeren lakes near Biddinghuizen. Thanks to the sunny weather, we had ample opportunity to take some beautiful photos of this special new tender.

  There's a lot of competition in the 6-meter tender and sloop category. To be successful, a model must possess several distinctive features. Boat Import Holland has over twenty years of experience with sloops and tenders, and this is clearly reflected in the design of the 605 Tender. Over the years, they have carefully listened to the wishes of various customers, and much of that knowledge has been incorporated into the test boat.
  
  The first thing you notice is the generous beam; at 2.4 meters, this Topcraft is the widest tender in its class. This width translates into a very stable vessel and an unprecedentedly large interior.
  The 605 Tender features a curved seating area in the front with benches facing each other. Especially when a comfortable seating position is established, people in boats around 6 meters often find themselves knee-to-knee. This isn't the case in the Topcraft, however, meaning even taller people have a comfortable seat.
  Besides the comfortable width and spaciousness, the seats are deep, and the luxurious cushions offer excellent support. The high backrests provide shelter and comfort, even during longer, windy trips. Thanks to the generously sized side decks, the cockpit is deep and safe for children, and is also completely self-draining.
  
  

  In the cockpit, the helmsman can sit behind the well-organized steering console with ample space for instruments, navigation equipment, or a fishfinder. A cup holder and a cell phone compartment are standard. The helm bench offers ample space for three people and has the same deep and comfortable seating as the other benches.
  
  

  Striking details include the two cockpit steps. A port step provides easy access to the cockpit from the side, while a starboard step also provides easy access to the aft deck. Both steps have three steps.
  The swimming platform is accessible via the sides of the aft deck and is actually very usable thanks to the optionally mounted swimming ladder.
  The centre section of the aft deck is formed by a large cover which conceals the engine compartment.
  In the spacious engine compartment (sufficient ventilation to prevent engine failures!) a maximum of a 60 hp outboard motor can be installed.

  The test boat was equipped with a 20 hp outboard motor, conveniently equipped with electric start. Thanks to the spacious, insulated engine compartment, the boating comfort is comparable to an inboard motor, without the higher costs and with the advantage that maintenance or engine changes are much easier to perform. Boat Import Holland deliberately equipped the boat with a relatively low engine power for this test. With 20 hp, the Topcraft 605 easily reaches 20 kilometers per hour. That's a great speed, allowing for good speed without needing a boating license. People with a moderate weight will easily be able to wakeboard, and a fun tube or banana boat is certainly possible, making the boat perfectly suitable for all kinds of sporty water sports in this combination. With a 20 hp Tohatsu four-stroke engine, you won't encounter any unpleasant surprises at the gas station either.

  The 605's underwater hull allows the boat to glide very quickly and generates virtually no wave action. Trips along the canals of Leiden or Amsterdam, for example, are therefore a pleasure not only for the passengers themselves but also for other water sports enthusiasts. For water sports enthusiasts who prefer a faster pace, a 50 hp Tohatsu four-stroke outboard motor (consumption 6.2 liters per hour at full throttle) is an excellent choice. These motors weigh less than 100 kilograms, allowing the 605 to remain nimble with a top speed of 50 kilometers per hour. More than enough for water skiing, wakeboarding, or enjoying the fresh air on open water with a boat full of friends.

Recently bought a Topcraft 605. I'm really happy with it; it's very stable in the water and tracks well. With a 60 hp engine like ours, it blasts across the water like a speedboat. The interior is truly spacious, and the round seating area with the sundeck provides a fantastic bed where we can sunbathe and shelter from the rain and wind with the hood up. We're going to try to get away for a few days soon and sleep on the boat! If we like it, we'd like to sail the Elfstedentocht (Eleven Cities Tour). There's plenty of luggage space, especially if you include the space under the sundeck.
