ePropulsion Navy 6.0 Evo 6kW Electric outboard motor including remote control

ePropulsion Navy 6.0 Evo 6kW Electric outboard motor including remote control

  • Evo: Direct-drive motor for high reliability and ultimate low-noise propulsion.
  • Hydrogeneration > supplies charging current to the battery if the propeller rotates during sailing, for example!
  • Available in tiller or remote control versions.
The Navy 6.0 Evo Remote can be operated with a single-cable remote control or via a tiller. Included in the price at Marinaut.
Four ways to operate the motor:
    • ePropulsion Navy, Pod Drive, Spirit Evo Remote top-mounted remote control
    • ePropulsion Side mount control for Spirit Evo, Navy Evo and Pod Drive Evo, extra cost €149,-
    • ePropulsion Evo Dual Remote Control
    • ePropulsion Spirit Evo and Navy Evo Tiller Handle. Article number NE-TC00-00.
    • All displays show information including remaining operating time.
    • You can also switch back to tiller control later or vice versa. The tiller can also be folded (70-degree angle).
  • Easy installation. Besides the remote control, you only need a steering cable (from about 100 euros) and a steering wheel (from about 30 euros).
  • The ePropulsion Navy 6.0 Evo is a 6 KW electric outboard motor and is the ultimate solution for sustainable and comfortable boating.
  • Sleek, easy to use and environmentally friendly. This electric outboard motor will enhance your boating pleasure!
  • Power 6000W / 48 Volt / 125 Ampere and 279 LBS thrust. However, electric motors have a much higher thrust capacity than gasoline engines. 1 LBS of thrust can propel 10 to 20 kilograms.
  • Comparable to a 10 hp (propulsion power) to 15 hp (thrust) fuel engine.
  • Green power and top performance come together here. A Navy 6.0 can easily bring a 4.5-meter RIB to 26 kilometers per hour. The motor is suitable for bringing boats up to 5,400 kilograms to cruising speed and boats up to 1,900 kilograms to hull speed.
  • Three-blade premium fiber-reinforced nylon propellers (1,500 RPM): 2 Propellers are included a low and high pitch propeller.
The low pitch propeller (340 × 216 mm) is ideal for maneuvering large, heavy boats in tight spaces where speed is not essential. This has higher torque but lower top speed.
The high pitch propeller (320 × 274 mm) is great if you need speed on lighter, streamlined boats where propulsion is not essential. This has lower torque but higher top speed. If in doubt, choose the high pitch propeller.
An ePropulsion Navy 6.0 aluminum propeller is also available (product number N6-LU01-E0). The main advantage is that it is an aluminum alloy, strong and reliable. The thrust is between the low and high pitch propeller. Dimensions: 12.6″ × 8.7″.
  • Optimal propeller efficiency: The intensive development process includes hundreds of hours of design and research into the most efficient product. This ensures that all aspects of the propellers are optimized to the highest level.
  • Closed cooling: The Navy 6.0 Evo is the first mass-produced outboard motor equipped with a closed liquid cooling system. The cooling system is completely closed and does not use outside water. Keep the motor at a safe temperature under all circumstances.
  • Amazingly quiet: Virtually silent with a direct-drive motor. There is no gear transmission, which means less friction in the motor. Fancy a relaxing trip? That's exactly what electric boating offers.
  • Electric start: No more pulling like with a fuel engine.
  • Maintenance-free: The Navy Evo is a game-changer. Spend much less time on maintenance or winterizing. Only replace the anti-corrosion anode after 200 hours when necessary and grease some parts. Spend less time on your outboard motor and more time enjoying the water.
  • Suitable for salt water.
  • Trim: Manually in 5 positions: 0°, 5°, 10°, 15° and 60°. This allows you to position the motor out of the water after sailing to prevent algae growth. The 3 other positions can be set depending on your boat and speed to achieve greater efficiency.
  • With manual control, you can rotate the motor 360 degrees.
  • Weight: 36 kilograms.

High efficiency:

  • Motor (rpm) Torque Efficiency
  • 1200 36.5 76.5%
  • 1300 35.0 79.3%
  • 1400 33.4 81.5%
  • 1500 32.3 83.4%
  • 1600 30.5 85.1%
  • 1700 29.2 86.5%
  • 1800 28.1 87.7%

  • Money saving:
    • The investment is currently higher than a 10 hp fuel engine. Based on a consumption of 4 liters per hour, the consumption costs for the fuel engine at 1.60 euros per liter are 6.40 euros per hour.
    • With the Navy electric motor, electricity costs are only 1.50 euros per hour and at half speed 0.75 euros per hour (based on 0.25 euros per KwH).
    • A full day of boating for just a few euros! Also save on maintenance costs. A fuel engine needs minor annual maintenance (110 euros) and sometimes a major service (200 euros). With the Navy electric motor, you only need to change 260 ml of oil annually.
    • So at 50 hours annually, you save over 350 euros in costs! After 10 years, that's 3,500 euros. Ultimately, electric boating is the most economical.
    • Subsidy: Electric boat motors and Lithium batteries are eligible for Environmental Investment Deduction and Arbitrary Depreciation for environmental investments for vessels used commercially. The tax benefit can amount to more than 14% of the investment amount with the MIA\Vamil.
    • Advantages of electric boating: A premium boating experience. Electric boating is clean, quiet and requires less maintenance. Compared to other electric boating options, ePropulsion stands out as a technological pioneer with guaranteed quality. ePropulsion promises to amaze you and can deliver the desired boating experience.

  • ePropulsion Wristband with kill switch: The motor switches off if someone falls overboard.
  • ePropulsion Navy 6.0 anti-ventilation cavitation plate: For performance improvement (only for fast-moving - i.e. lightweight boats).
Two-piece, high-strength aluminum alloy plate, mounted on the lower units of the Navy outboard motor to improve performance. Performance improvement by preventing surface air from being sucked into the negative pressure side of the propeller blades (anti-ventilation). Ventilation is caused by air entering the propeller blades. This causes the blades to lose grip on the water, thus increasing RPM and reducing boat speed.
Mount the anti-ventilation plate 2-3 cm above the top of the propeller and below the waterline.
