The newly designed motor, in combination with helical gearing, has become even quieter.
Additionally, the motor, combined with the unique Torqeedo propeller, is super efficient, allowing you to sail longer on a single battery charge.
The motor is suitable for bringing boats up to 2,700 kg to cruising speed and boats up to 900 kg to hull speed.
Comparable to a 5 hp (propulsive power) to 8 hp (thrust) combustion engine.
For heavier boats, the Torqeedo Cruise 6.0 electric outboard motor 6.0 kW 48V is available, and for lighter boats, the Torqeedo Travel 1103C electric outboard motor 1100W 29.6V with 915 Wh battery.
Robust and waterproof: The fully waterproof motor in a sturdy aluminum housing guarantees years of boating pleasure, even with professional use or in rental.
The pylon is entirely made of aluminum, and the skeg is now integrated with the motor housing. This offers even more protection if you hit something underwater.
Protected against corrosion during intensive use in saltwater.
Entire motor is waterproof to IP 67, fully dustproof and waterproof to 1 meter depth.
