The BF10D is a compact 10 hp 4-stroke outboard motor with two cylinders and a displacement of 222 cm³. The LRU version features a long shaft, electric start, and remote control.

According to boat-fuel-economy.com, fuel consumption at full throttle is approximately 3.8 liters per hour. At half power, consumption is stated to be around 1.5 to 2 liters per hour.
