Honda BF15D 15 hp 4-stroke outboard engine

The BF15D is a compact two-cylinder 4-stroke outboard engine with a 350 cc displacement. Depending on the model, the engine is available with manual or electric start, tiller handle or remote control, and various shaft lengths.

According to boat-fuel-economy.com, fuel consumption at full throttle is approximately 4.9 litres per hour. At half power, approximately 2 to 3 litres per hour is cited.

Sea trial and practical use

• Boote-Magazine Germany, 2019: in a comparison of 15 hp outboard engines, the test boat reached approximately 37 km/h. Honda stood out in this test for its cruising range and pulling power.
