- The ePropulsion Navy 6.0 Evo is a 6 KW electric outboard motor and is the ideal solution if you want to sail sustainably and comfortably.
- Sleek, easy to use, and environmentally friendly. This electric outboard motor will enhance your boating pleasure!
- Power: 6000W / 48 volts / 125 amps and 279 lbs of thrust. However, electric motors have a much higher thrust than gasoline engines. 1 lb of thrust can propel 10 to 20 kilograms.
- Comparable to a 10 hp (propulsion power) to 15 hp (thrust) combustion engine.
- Green energy and top performance come together here. A Navy 6.0 easily propels a 4.5-meter RIB to 26 kilometers per hour. The engine is suitable for bringing boats up to 5,400 kilograms to cruising speed and boats up to 1,900 kilograms to hull speed.
For heavier boats, a Torqeedo Cruise 12.0 R electric outboard motor 12 kW 20-25 hp is available.
For lighter boats, the ePropulsion Navy 3.0 Evo 3kW 6 hp Electric outboard motor 48V is available. - Three-blade premium fiber reinforced nylon propellers (1,500 RPM): 2 Propellers are included a low and high pitch propeller.
The low-pitch propeller ( 340 × 216 mm) is ideal for maneuvering large, heavy boats in tight spaces, where speed isn't essential. It has higher torque but a lower top speed.
The high-pitch propeller (320 x 274 mm) is ideal for speed on lighter, streamlined boats, where propulsion isn't essential. It has lower torque but a higher top speed. If in doubt, choose the high-pitch propeller.
A The ePropulsion Navy 6.0 aluminum propeller is also available (product number N6-LU01-E0) . Its major advantage is that it is made of aluminum alloy, making it strong and reliable. Its thrust is between that of a low-pitch and high-pitch propeller. Dimensions: 12.6″ × 8.7″. - Optimal screw efficiency: The intensive development process involves hundreds of hours of design and research into the most efficient product. This ensures that all aspects of the screws are optimized to the highest level.
- Closed-loop cooling: The Navy 6.0 Evo is the first production outboard motor equipped with a closed-loop liquid cooling system. The cooling system is completely sealed and uses no raw water. This keeps the motor at a safe temperature under all conditions.
- Amazing Quiet : Virtually silent with a direct-drive motor. There's no gear transmission, which means less friction in the motor. Fancy a relaxing ride? That's exactly what electric boating offers.
- Electric start: No longer pulling like with a combustion engine.
- Maintenance free : The Navy Evo is a game-changer. Spend significantly less time on maintenance or winterizing. Replace the rust-resistant anode only when necessary, and only after 200 hours, and grease some components. Spend less time on your outboard motor and more time enjoying the water.
- Suitable for salt water.
- Trim: Manually adjustable in 5 positions: 0°, 5°, 10°, 15°, and 60°. This allows you to position the motor out of the water after sailing to prevent algae growth. The other 3 positions can be adjusted to your boat and speed for greater efficiency.
- With manual control, you can rotate the motor 360 degrees.
- Weight: 36 kilograms.
- High efficiency:
Engine (rpm) Torque Efficiency
1200 36.5 76.5%
1300 35.0 79.3%
1400 33.4 81.5%
1500 32.3 83.4%
1600 30.5 85.1%
1700 29.2 86.5%
1800 28.1 87.7%

Money saving:
- The investment is currently higher than a 10 hp combustion engine. Based on a fuel consumption of 4 liters per hour, the fuel engine's running costs at €1.60 per liter are €6.40 per hour.
- With the Navy electric motor, electricity costs are only €1.50 per hour and at half speed €0.75 per hour (based on €0.25 per kWh).
- A whole day of sailing for just a few euros! Save on maintenance costs, too. A fuel engine requires a minor annual service (€110) and sometimes a major service (€200). With the Navy electric motor, you only need to change 260 ml of oil annually.
- So, with 50 hours of use per year, you'll save over €350 in costs! After 10 years, that's €3,500. Ultimately, electric boating is the most cost-effective option.
- Subsidy : Electric boat motors and lithium batteries are eligible for the Environmental Investment Deduction and the Arbitrary Depreciation of Environmental Investments for commercially used vessels. With the MIA/Vamil, the tax benefit can amount to over 14% of the investment amount.

Non-essential options:
- ePropulsion Wristband with Deadman Switch: The engine will shut down if someone falls overboard.
- ePropulsion Navy 6.0 anti-ventilation cavitation plate: For performance improvement (only for fast-moving - so for lightweight boats).
A two-piece, high-strength aluminum alloy plate is fitted to the lower units of the Navy outboard motor to improve performance. This improves performance by preventing surface air from being drawn into the negative pressure side of the propeller blades (anti-ventilation). Ventilation occurs when air enters the propeller blades. This causes the blades to lose grip on the water, thus increasing RPM and slowing the boat.
Mount the anti-ventilation plate 2-3 cm above the top of the propeller and below the waterline.
Article number: N6-AP00-E0 - Option: Handlebar for 2 engines €245. Both longer and shorter versions available. Two versions: 700-900 mm. Article number 00-0800-02. If you want to install two motors, the transom plate must be longer than 120 cm and the space between the motors must be more than 60 cm. This will give you 12 kW of power.
- Option: Dual control for 2 motors. With the Evo Dual Remote Control, you can control two motors with a single synchronization. It's also possible to control the two motors independently. The integrated 4.3-inch (11-centimeter) display shows all information in real time, including battery status, range/remaining distance, speed, power, and error messages (for each motor separately).
