The engine is suitable for bringing boats up to 5,400 kilograms to cruising speed and boats up to 1,900 kilograms to hull speed.
With most boats up to 7 meters you can sail with 1 kW of power (and therefore 1 kWh of battery consumption per hour, approximately 7 kilometers per hour). With a 4 kWh battery you then have a minimum range of 28 kilometers, which is sufficient daily range for most boaters.
