ePropulsion E80 LiFePO4 boat battery 48 V 4.1 kWh

The ePropulsion E80 is a 48 V LiFePO4 boat battery with a capacity of 4,096 Wh. The battery is developed for electric propulsion and communicates with compatible ePropulsion motors. The integrated battery management system monitors the battery during charging and discharging.

The values below are theoretical calculation examples based on 4.096 kWh of nominal energy. Actual runtime will be shorter due to conversion losses, reserves, temperature, sailing resistance, and system settings.

Compatibility

The E80 is suitable for compatible 48 V installations and ePropulsion systems within the battery's current and voltage limits, including applications with Spirit, Navy, and Pod motors. One E80 can deliver approximately 4.10 kW continuously. Therefore, a minimum of two E80 batteries in parallel are required for a Navy 6.0 Evo or Pod Drive 6.0 Evo to provide sufficient continuous current.

When connecting in parallel, use only E80 batteries of the same model and age. Series connection is not supported. Parallel connection requires suitable bridge cables, communication cables, and a terminator or remote switch.

The IP67 protection is not permanent and may decrease due to wear. Cover the terminals when the battery is not in use and avoid prolonged exposure to moisture.
