The newly optimized gear ratio (26:12 / 2.17) provides more power and torque, resulting in the highest top speed among 25/30 hp 4-stroke engines. This performance also leads to fuel savings and a broader range of applications than other brands.

As a rule of thumb, you need 1 hp for every 10 to 20 kilograms of total weight for fast-planing boats. Based on this, this outboard engine is suitable for a total weight of 400 to 800 kilograms.
For displacement boats, 1 hp per 150 to 200 kilograms is sufficient; in that case, the engine is adequate for 6 to 8 tons of total weight.

A fast engine suitable for water sports and capable of water skiing or wakeboarding (for boats with speeds starting from 20 km/h for beginners up to 35 km/h for advanced users).

With the 540 sloop weighing 425 kilograms, you can reach a maximum speed of over 40 kilometers per hour with a 25 hp outboard engine.

VERSIONS:

• The transom height of the boat determines the shaft length of the outboard engine. Measure from the point where the engine hangs to the bottom. Is the transom height around 43 centimeters? Then you need a short shaft. For a length of 51 centimeters, it is best to go for a long shaft. You need an extra-long shaft for a length of 63 centimeters.

Engine Control Unit (ECU)
The 16-bit ECU precisely controls fuel injection and ignition timing for 4-stroke engines.

Battery-less electronic fuel injection
The 30 hp and 25 hp models now feature the industry's first battery-less electronically controlled fuel injection, ensuring fast throttle response, excellent fuel economy, and very smooth rides on the water.

Tuned intake manifold
The tuned intake manifold provides higher torque at low and mid-range speeds and quieter operation.
