Sloop suitable for water sports. Beginners can water ski from 20 kilometers per hour. Wakeboarding and advanced water skiing are possible from 30 kilometers per hour.

This sloop can be equipped with either an electric motor or a fuel engine. Two customer experiences: with a 495 sloop , you usually run at 300 to 400 watts. You never run at maximum power, so you can really sail all day on the lake near our house. With a 530 sloop : around 400 watts, you can reach a speed of 5 to 6 kilometers per hour in the canals. Consumption: 6 kilometers per hour: 500 watts, 7: 750 watts, 8: 1000 watts.
Test report with Amarew 1.5 kW motor (and later the same results with the 1.6 kW Torqeedo Travel XP motor and 4 kWh battery with 2 persons: you reach up to 7 to 8 kilometers per hour.
Cruise without a license up to 20 kilometers per hour with a 10 hp electric or gasoline motor. Want a little more power? Choose a 15 or 20 hp motor . With 20 hp and two people, you'll reach 28 kilometers per hour; a 25 hp motor is even an option.
With a 1.3 kWh battery, you can cruise all day, and you can even add an extra battery. At 60 watts, you can even cruise at 4 kilometers per hour, at 100 watts at 5 kilometers per hour (range 65 kilometers), at 250 watts at 6 kilometers per hour (range over 30 kilometers), at 500 watts at 7 kilometers per hour (range 18 kilometers), and at 1000 watts at 8 kilometers per hour (range 10 kilometers).
