The power is comparable to 2 hp. However, electric motors have a much higher thrust than gasoline engines. The engine is suitable for propelling boats up to 700 kilograms to cruising speed and boats up to 250 kilograms to hull speed.
This engine is therefore very suitable for RIBs, sloops and rubber boats (usually up to 5 meters).
With 0.5kW the Marinaut 620 tender reached 4 kilometers per hour.
For heavier boats you can use a Order ePropulsion Spirit 1 kW Evo (Plus) with 1.3 kWh battery electric outboard motor .

- Full power 500 Watt: 7.5 kilometers per hour: sailing time 0.75 hours, range 5.6 kilometers.
- Sport mode 750 Watt: 8.3 kilometers per hour. **Sport mode may last up to 1 minute, depending on the remaining battery charge and temperature.
- The above data is for one person operating a 2.4-meter aluminum inflatable boat (total weight 117 kg) in calm conditions. Range and runtime may vary depending on the boat or load, wind and waves, etc.
