Versatile drive
The POD engine is suitable for powering sailboats, motorboats, and workboats. Yachts that want to operate electrically while still using their existing diesel engine can install the POD as a hybrid drive in a duo-mounted configuration. Because it's mounted underneath the boat, it takes up minimal space. The engine can be installed in a fixed and steerable configuration and is available with a fixed propeller or folding propeller.

WaterWorld Electronics
The stylishly designed throttle and digital color display, which come standard, provide control and provide the skipper with important sailing information. Combined with the new iLink (iOS connection) and the WaterWorld app, all information can be viewed on an iPhone or iPad. Also new this season is RayLink, which allows the information to be displayed on various Raymarine Axiom series displays.

The robust, saltwater-resistant construction makes the motor less vulnerable to impact, and the direct drive ensures high torque and dynamic performance. Combined with the WaterWorld Lithium (LFP) batteries, the system is easy to install and fully integrated with the controller and display. In this configuration, the system comes with a full 3-year warranty.
The engine is suitable for bringing boats up to cruising speed of 3,200 kilograms and boats up to 1,000 kilograms to hull speed.
