The Torqeedo Cruise 6.0 RL TorqLink is an electric outboard motor with remote steering for motorboats and sailboats up to approximately 6 tons. The motor delivers 6 kW of input power and is comparable to a 9.9 hp internal combustion engine in terms of propulsion. This version features a long shaft of 75.5 cm.

Operation and navigation information

The color display shows, among other things, the power, GPS speed, battery status, and the calculated remaining travel time and range. The remote supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for use with the TorqTrac app. With a Torqeedo Power 48-5000, the data on battery capacity and remaining range are more accurate because the battery and motor exchange data directly.

Battery and charger

The motor operates on 48 V. The included cable set 1990-00 enables use with a compatible lead-acid, AGM, or lithium battery system. The battery must be able to provide sufficient current for a motor power of 6 kW. Therefore, have the system selection and safety precautions checked by a professional installer.
