This portable bestseller has been upgraded with newly designed top and bottom cowls based on the Tohatsu Design Philosophy for Marine Products, featuring ergonomically designed front and rear carrying handles. The first priority in the development of the MFS engines is to make them as light and compact as possible without compromising reliability, quality, and performance. These fuel-efficient 4-stroke outboards offer the long lifespan that Tohatsu owners have come to value in the brand.
As a rule of thumb, for fast-planing boats, you need 1 hp for every 10 to 20 kilograms of total weight. Based on this, this outboard is suitable for 40 to 80 kilograms of total weight (e.g., an inflatable boat).
For displacement boats, 1 hp per 150 to 200 kilograms is sufficient; in this case, the motor is adequate for 600 to 800 kilograms.

Description
