With this ePropulsion Spirit charging kit, you can charge your Spirit 1.0 Plus/Evo battery using solar energy or a suitable 12 V connection. The kit consists of a 100 W foldable solar panel, a maximum 180 W MPPT solar charger, and a 0.5-meter 12 V input cable.
What is included?
- Foldable solar panel: ePropulsion FS-P000-00, maximum 100 W.
- 12 V and solar charger: ePropulsion SP-C003-00, maximum 180 W.
- 12 V input cable: 0.5 meters for a suitable 12 V connection in the car or on board.
Use
Connect the solar panel to the MPPT charger using the water-resistant plug-and-play connectors. The charger regulates the charging current to the Spirit battery. The same charger can be used with the included cable on a suitable 12 V power source.
The actual output of the solar panel depends on solar intensity, shade, temperature, panel angle, and charging losses. The panel provides a maximum of 100 W; the maximum power of 180 W refers to the charger. A fixed sailing time or charging time cannot therefore be guaranteed.

Compatibility
The charger is intended for the ePropulsion Spirit 1.0 Plus/Evo battery. When using a different solar panel, only use a compatible panel and suitable connectors within the input limits of the charger.
Charging time indication
The Spirit battery has a capacity of 1,276 Wh. Based on a maximum of 100 W, the theoretical minimum charging time is 1,276 Wh ÷ 100 W = approximately 12.8 hours of full solar production, excluding charging losses. In practice, a full charge takes longer and the yield varies throughout the day.
