1 hour of flat out sailing with the Spirit costs less than 0.25 euros (1 kWh). 1 hour of flat out sailing with a 3hp fuel engine costs about 1 liter = 1.80 euros.
Battery easy to change
It is advisable to carry a spare battery when using your outboard motor. Changing your battery during the trip usually takes less than 30 seconds and is very simple.

Charging the battery
- For long-term storage, check every three months whether the battery level is around 60%.
- The battery will discharge after 20 days to approximately 75%.

- The Spirit battery has independent charge and discharge ports, so you can connect the battery's charge port to an input power source while it is discharging.
