ePropulsion E60 48 V LiFePO4 boat battery 3.07 kWh

The ePropulsion E60 is a 48 V LiFePO4 boat battery with a capacity of 3,072 Wh and a built-in HD display. The display shows the charge level, voltage, current, and any warnings, among other things. The battery was developed for electric propulsion and communicates with suitable ePropulsion motors.

The values below are theoretical calculation examples based on 3.072 kWh of nominal energy. Actual runtime will be shorter due to conversion losses, reserves, temperature, sailing resistance, and system settings.

Compatibility

The E60 is designed for suitable 48 V systems from the ePropulsion Spirit, Navy, and Pod series. The correct power and communication cables depend on the motor and installation. One E60 can supply approximately 3.58 kW continuously. Therefore, for a 6 kW motor, a battery bank that meets ePropulsion's system requirements is necessary.

Only E60 batteries of the same model and age may be connected in parallel. Series connection is not supported. When connecting in parallel, the correct bridging cables, communication cables, and a communication terminator are required.

Store the battery in a dry and protected area with the terminals covered. For long-term storage, charge the battery to approximately 60% every three months.
