ePropulsion E40 LiFePO4 boat battery 48 V 2.1 kWh

The ePropulsion E40 is a 48 V LiFePO4 boat battery with a capacity of 2,048 Wh. The battery is designed for electric propulsion and other suitable 48 V systems. The integrated battery management system monitors the battery during charging and discharging.

Indicative runtime

The values below are calculation examples based on 2.048 kWh of nominal energy. The actual runtime will be shorter due to conversion losses, reserves, temperature, sailing behavior, and system settings.

Compatibility

Suitable for compatible 48 V installations and ePropulsion systems within the battery's current and voltage limits. One E40 provides a maximum of 40 A continuously, or approximately 2.05 kW at nominal voltage. For a motor of 3 kW or more, a single E40 is therefore not sufficient to deliver the full motor power continuously; always follow ePropulsion's system requirements for a parallel battery bank.

Delivery and options

• Variant without battery charger: E40 battery, documentation, two M8 × 16 screws, and a 6 mm Allen key.
• Variant with battery charger: the above plus an ePropulsion E-series battery charger according to the chosen product option.

Please note: the maximum permitted charging current of the E40 is 20 A. Before commissioning, check that the charger or charging configuration used is set accordingly.

Not included with the variant without battery charger: battery charger, power and communication cables, parallel connection cable kit, terminator or remote switch, and external display.
