The Combi Nautic Steerable POD is an electric steerable pod drive. The series includes power ratings from 1 to 15 kW. Installation and control are tailored to the vessel, for example, when installed at the position of the rudder trunk.

Steerable propulsion
Because the pod can rotate, the direction of the thrust can be adjusted. The mechanical steerability of the pod is 360 degrees. The actual available steering angle depends on the chosen steering system. A steering cylinder or other steering mechanism is not included.
The motor is infinitely variable. Within the Combi Nautic series, asynchronous three-phase motors and synchronous brushless permanent magnet motors are used; the motor type depends on the model.
